SUMMER CAMP!
Summer Of Coding with KodeConnect (SOCK)
Get ready for an amazing summer of Coding. Our SOCK program is taking signups! This summer's focus is Out of This World!!! We will be learning how to code and compete in the Zero Robotics Competition.
JUNE 24 - August 2nd Mondays - Fridays 9am - 2pm
Location: CARDINAL SPELLMAN SCHOOL, Brockton, MA
What is SOCK?
The SOCK Program is designed to be a hands-on coding and robotics class for kids rising into 6th - 8th Grade this September (Current 5th - 7th graders). This is an intense, challenging, but fun atmosphere that runs daily Monday - Friday for 4 weeks (June 24-August 2) at an affordable price due to the help of our sponsors. In addition to the daily camp, the kids in SOCK are also part of the MIT & NASA ZeroRobotics coding competition.
What is Zero Robotics?
The 2024 Zero Robotics program is designed to cultivate interest in STEM through online lessons and activities. The four-week program will be guided by teachers and college STEM mentors that receive FREE training and support from Zero Robotics.
This summer program will be in-person with virtual flexibility based on teacher needs and location availability. Participants will create program codes and test them in team simulations up until competition day where they will then run their code against other teams on the International Space Station.
Participants will:
Brainstorm strategies
Apply math and physics
Write computer programs
Observe results in simulation
Compete in online Competitions
FOR Students
To participate in the program, you must be a middle school student with a passion for STEM.
Zero Robotics seeks students who are excited to participate in a competition which challenges them with:
