I basically assist wherever am needed, set up events, and help spread the word. I live in Brockton and can see how much of an impact this team has already made in the community

I love volunteering for KodeConnect because I wish an organization like this existed when I was younger! Through the Girls Who Code club, I get to see young girls become more confident in their own ideas and abilities especially related to STEM. And I enjoy hiking with my sisters in my free time.

I strongly believe in the mission of KodeConnect. I’ve always been passionate about engineering, science and math since I was a little girl. I am hoping to be able to share that passion with the younger generations and inspire them to pursue careers in STEM-related fields. I am looking to help give students every opportunity to learn more about engineering.

Alex volunteers with KodeConnect to teach children basic programming skills. He feels passionately that it is important to teach children that programming isn't as complicated as it may seem and that introducing kids to it at a young age builds their confidence to pursue careers in technology.

Mark is a software engineer in Boston helping KodeConnect refine curriculum, volunteering at teaching events, and lending a hand anywhere needed. Mark is passionate about helping young people empower themselves through technology and entrepreneurship skills. Mark also volunteers with BUILD Boston, Coder Dojo, and the Boston Collegiate Charter School.

Sophia has been with KodeConnect for over a year and has been instrumental in helping spread the word about KodeConnect using various social media platforms. We can’t showcase all the amazing stories and people without people like Sophia!
